The Timken Test is
based on a machine
manufacutured by Timken Company from 1935 to 1972. It is now an industry standard test though the qualitative measure can not be considered scientific, it is an excellent visual comparison of lubricants failure rate under pressure (Pounds per Square Inch -PSI). In addition, the Timken test measures the amount of wear a will bearing sustain at the point of failure, called a score mark.
As you can see Bio Lube
not only performs at a
signifacantly higer PSI,
it also leaves an almost immeasurable score mark.
