Clean and Clear FAQ

Why do evacuation lines clog?
Protein matter in lines form bio-film. Bio-film attracts and collects particulate matter. This process continues until lines loose capacity and eventually shut down due to blockage.

Why live enzymes?
Protease enzymes naturally dissolve protein-based bio-film. Once bio-film is removed, particulate and other sediment flow freely through.

Why Surfactants?
Surfactants emulsify and help carry loosened bio-film and particulate matter through the system. They ensure that the problem does not redeposit somewhere further down the line.

Why enzymes and surfactants combined?
One loosens the deposits, one suspends and ensures they are flushed away.

Why not bleach?
Does not dissolve deposits from tubing walls
Does not emulsify sediment
Does not surface clean or attack bio-film
Attacks stainless steel
Offensive odor
Dangerous to staff, carpet, and plumbing

Why not surfactant products?
They lack enzyme power to attack and loosen protein bio-film

Clean and Clear Instructions

A multi-enzyme solution for elimination of organic matter and odors for the evacuation system.

Clean and Clear is designed to clean and eliminate odor by dissolving organic matter. This mutli-enzyme formula is

Non-toxic
Non-caustic
Bio-degradable
Harmless to plastic, rubber and plumbing
Clean and Clear is a Non-foaming solution specifically designed for safe use in turbine ecacuator systems.

Clean and Clear is excellent for cleaning all organic stains and odors.

Clean and Clear for evacuation and commercial drain system cleaning: At the end of the day, add 3 ounces of Clean and Clear to 1 gallon of warm water in suitable container or sink. With system full, open, draw solution through ecacuator hoses and saliva ejectors. Clean and Clear should be used 3 times weekly. If surgery is frequent or evacuator discharges are massive, daily use is recommended. When used as directed. Clean and Clear will keep hoses, traps and drains free of organic matter and control odor.

Clean and Clear for surgical, dental and medical instrument cleaning: Dilute Clean and Clear 1 part to 10 parts warm water. Soak instruments for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse with water. Clean and Clear effectively removes organic debris and blood, leaving instruments clean and free of any build-up or residues. Extra heavy or old dried deposits may require extra soaking time or a light brushing.

Clean and Clear for stain removal in garments, fabrics and carpets: Wet stain with 10% solution as used in cleaning instruments. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes, then blot out or rinse out. For stubborn stains, repeat as necessary.
