Clean Image Clean Up Sheets FAQ

Do Clean Image Sheets replace my clear sheets?
Yes, the Bright White 8x10 Clean Image Sheets shows you the dirt that has been removed.

How many sheets are in a package?
50 8x10 sheets per package

Will Clean Image Sheets cross contaminate my solutions?
No, Clean Image Sheets are processed just like x-ray film, no difference in technique.

Are Clean Image Sheets too thick to go through my processor?
Clean Image Sheets are designed to work in all roller and web type machines that will accommodate an 8x10 x-ray film.

Where can I order Clean Image Sheets?
All major dealers sell Clean Image Sheets. The manufacturer's Item # is CI0810.

Will the use of Clean Image Sheets void my warranty?
No, Clean Image Sheets are safe for all roller type processors. The law protects you from such claims. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act states that a manufacturer may not condition his warranty written or implied on the use of any article, product or service which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name, unless it is provided at no charge.

Why should I use a clean up sheet?
Every manufacturer of an automatic processor recommends that a clean up sheet be processed as the first film of the day. All chemstry produces artifacts (specs) over night. The artifacts settle on top of your rollers waiting to be planted on your next x-ray film. Processing a Clean Image Sheet will remove these deposits.

When should I process a Clean Image Sheet?
For immediate clean, crisp film every time process a Clean Image Sheet (1) as the first film after a cleaning, (2) as the first film of the day or (3) after the machine sits idle for 3 or more hours.

How many times can I use a Clean Image Sheet?
Use a Clean Image Sheet once and discard. Repeated use washes off all of the moisture activated gel and the sheet becomes ineffective. If you run the dirty sheet again you will redeposit the dirt. The same happens when you reprocess a clear sheet.

Can I use an exposed x-ray film as a clean up sheet?
An exposed film does not have the ability to trap the artifacts. An exposed film contaminates and reduces the strength of your chemistry.

How does a Clean Image Sheet work?
The bright white sheet has a moisture activated cleaning gel on one side (the shiny side) that traps artifacts and cleans the complete surface of the rollers. Place your processor on endo speed or regular speed. Process the sheet shiny side up to clean the upper rollers then shiny side down to clean the lower rollers. Discard the used sheet.

Will the Clean Image Sheet work in my processor?
Clean Image Sheets work in all roller type and web type processors. Clean Image Sheets are currently being used in thousands of processors, all makes and models.

Do Clean Image Sheets replace my weekly cleaning?
No, the use of Clean Image Sheets will reduce the time required for your weekly cleaning. Clean Image Sheets remove artifacts and debris from your rollers daily. Clean Image Sheets do not replace the weekly thorough cleaning.
